Seattle Terrorists and Free Guns

Just 2 weeks ago there were KNOWN terrorists in Seattle trying to buy weapons for attacks (STRATFOR website) and lucky for us they tried to buy those weapons from the FBI.

Now the breaking story is about a rifle left on the truck of a cop car in that VERY SAME CITY. But I don't know why but no one seems to be mentioning the relevance of these two events (Seattle Examiner). We all know how stupid it was for a cop to lay their rifle on a car and walk away and then for another cop to then drive that car around town. But it become much more RELEVANT when the public understands that in that very city, just a few days earlier, the FBI arrested people for trying to buy M16s for an attack. Now its not just stupid, but it risked our national security.

While the White House and Bloomberg talk about 'gun show loopholes' cops are just leaving weapons around for the taking. I can't imagine what kind of trouble I would be in for doing this sort of thing, but given the terrorist connection this in unacceptable for Seattle PD. I guess those Seattle based terrorists didn't need to buy M16s from undercover FBI agents... they could have just gotten one for free from the Seattle PD.
