My son is only 20 months old but I think I need to start planning ahead for his future toy collections, because this "toy" gun rack has the kid in me all screaming for joy.
Its a "small arms" rack for 1/6 scale action figures. Haha small arms. But seriously this is very cool.
There is a YouTube video from Al Jazeera TV showing off incredible DIY weapons fabrication and homemade "smart" weaspons (video link at the bottom of this story).
It appears they have found a very old model of a Da Vinci canon. Now while it doesn't have a trigger with a full auto sear, it does have THREE barrels so I guess it's more like an M16 than an M4.

Just beacuse you never know... and the US Gov has a policy of "spend it or lose it" so here is a brief analysis from THE EXPERTS on how to handle any Zombie uprising:
While you wait in line to get on the ride Disney makes you feel like its a Stars Wars TSA checkpoint
"The second room of the queue is now a security check area, similar to a TSA checkpoint. The two G-series droids are still there, G2-9T scanning luggage and G2-4T scanning passengers."
I have said it before, Toy Story has a "Sheriff" with an empty holster? We all know Disney is anti gun but then why give Woody an empty holster? I mean Buzz Lightyear has a "Freakin lazer beam" that shoots out of his arm but that's safe for kids right? Heaven forbid a Sheriff has a cowboy pistol. Well I was almost over it all when I saw this....
Wired has a great story on the biometric tech that was likely used to ID the then dead body of bin Laden.
The Crovel is a cross between a Shovel and a Crowbar but also serves as a saw, axe, hammer, bottle opener, and more. I have to admit it looks very wicked and purpose built. The handle is made from a crowbar with the shovel attached at one end and hammer head welded tot he other. I find it inspiring... I need to start looking for some metal scrap laying around.
I just finished watching President Obama's press conference that announced the death of Osama Bin Laden. I found a few points very interesting.
The members of the House Committee on Homeland Security and Public Safety passed an open-carry bill 5 to 3. Now the bill will sit while it waits for a calendar date to be discussed by the entire House. So there are still a lot of work to do before this becomes official law. I am happy to see this coming to the light of day. As a Texan it can be very difficult to stay cool and concealed so even if you never intend to Open-Carry at least this would give you some protection should a light shirt ride up over the gun.
