From an email exchange I recently had with a buddy of mine. I mentioned that the new Remington Versa Max was very exciting and he asked me why it was better than his Saiga in 12 gauge:
By now I am sure you have seen plastered all over the news the story about the Secret Service agents that were caught with prostitutes in a hotel in Columbia. This happened just a week ago and already 3 agents have lost their jobs as a result with annoucements that even more punishments are due after a full investigation. They haven't even finished interviewing people and already heads are rolling...
This cop from London, Ontario was captured on YouTube showing some real shooting skills. This guys will definately get a promotion but honestly I am looking forward to his face being on next year's Top Shots. This kind of shooting takes some real skill and balls. If you watch closely you can see the cop coolly bring his sights up to target the unarmed teenager's face.
The London Riots are just stupidness in action. But this brings me to another point ... these so called "Flash Mobs". In the USA the media likes to call VIOLENT RIOTS "Flash Mobs" I guess because it sounds safer and innocent.
Please stop. They are NOT the same thing.
Why does it take 3 to 4 days for authorities in London to realize that you have to dramatically increase the police response? Why did they have to wait for the PM to make a press conference about increasing the police force...
The NSSF has a great video from Gunsite firing range on how to zero your AR15 in 5.56mm at 50 yards which will hit again at 200 yards. If you are like me and would rather no have to walk all day long.
I really enjoyed this latest movie. It was much like the 2nd one... lots of CGI action, with a touch more plot and less stupid characters.
Of note the special forces reaction soldiers (called the NEST team) all wore ATAC camo gear. It looked great in the Urban and Russian location they were filming. I loved how the jackets didn't even "look" like camo but did blend very well.
Just 2 weeks ago there were KNOWN terrorists in Seattle trying to buy weapons for attacks (STRATFOR website) and lucky for us they tried to buy those weapons from the FBI. But now the breaking story is about a rifle left on the truck on a cop car in that VERY SAME CITY. But I don't know why but no one seems to be mentioning the relevance of these two events (Seattle Examiner). We all know how stupid it was for a cop to lay their rifle on a car and walk away and then for another cop to then drive that car around town. But it become much more RELEVANT when....
